  16. Everyone saying the gov could've have done more/started the lockdown before CNY, but did any of us know that the virus was this severe? that it could be transmitted this easily? Do you know the effects on the economy which is why they held off the travel restrictions? No-one asked you to leave your home, so if you were so wise, why did you? Stop blaming the gov and start trying to help.

  17. Why, Dear PM Lee, is 20,000 cases a foregone conclusion now, and 80,000 cases a possibility? Is no one going to be held accountable? The myth of the know-all government is thoroughly debunked; the scales have fallen from Singaporeans' eyes.

  18. Westerners have always advocated freedom, but they have forgotten that self-discipline is also the most important virtue of mankind.

  19. What record breaking infection number do you think the PAP can delivery today? I bet above 1000 cases, maybe 1400 cases or more. Place your guess down below. Winner gets to say they are smarter than all those overly paid PAP MPs.

  20. SG is truly the world's Gold Standard! Proud to be a Singaporean. I voting PAP

  21. Community spread hovers around 20, 21… Pray that it will come down to 9 per day. Random swab test( estate by estate ) should carried out as soon as we get enough test kits from either Korea , Taiwan or Germany

  22. Those who having maid. Pls don't let them hangout. There are cases whole family may infected convid19 . Beware and be safe !! Maid also human had friends and boyfriends too,but we don't know where their friends are? Do keep them in house better than let them go out at this moment. Do treated maid as a family cos we are human not animals. Don't again the Singapore Law. If not in jail or heavy fine.

  25. We started 3 months into the outbreak when others already lockdown,we were late to the party closing our borders only in late feb early march, its not surprising that it took 1-2 months alter before we even closed schools and non-essential workplaces. What singapore did was apply what we actually did during sars but since this is a more contagious disease and sars was not as contagious, the tactics we used were not effective to combat this virus

  26. maybe should have done travel ban before cny, (っ- ‸ – ς)

  27. Did they read the news in South Korea? Those who recovered still shows positive to the virus after that. Please ensure that those who recovered is really "recovered". If not good luck to us as those who recovered are around us.

  28. There are endless scary viruses coming in the future, so make sure you give the government total control of your life.

They love you!!! That's why they educated you for free, and appointed all the "experts" who told you there would be 100-240,000 deaths WITH social distancing guidelines by the end of April.

The media loves you too!!! That's why they all agreed that Jeffrey Epstein killed himself and told you to just forget about the whole thing…

  29. Outstanding result, Singaporeans!! Let’s all go for Bubble Tea and jogging after this! 👏

  30. If the government would have started earlier before CNY and did a lock down earlier and ban foreign travellers or workers everything could have been settled by now. Covid 19 was on the Channel News Asia since January or December. Why did our government kept quiet and waited till 2 weeks after Cny to take action. Its already too late.

  31. one thing : its already too late because too slow. thats it

  32. actually it doesnt matter how many people staying in one room, as long as they maintain the cleanliness and they take care of the health of their environment. it depends on ourselves. how we want to make our place to be proper enough to stay. sometimes big house is not worth staying if its dirty or not healthy. on the contrary, the small house could be the best place to stay when its well maintained and in decent condition.

  33. So how many more 1000+ cases per day do we need to hit before we stop putting 12 people in a dorm room? The blame is not just on dorm operators but also on government as well. How many of these foreign workers are essential workers as well? It does fellow Singaporeans no good if foreigner workers are infected too….

  34. We are a great nation!! Congratulation we number one in Asean again!! So proud of us. Job well done!!

  35. I just go back to school tho but it’s getting worse

  39. For those who think this circuit breaker is actually a lockdown. Let me tell you, It's not at all. Essential and some non essential companies are still open for business. For examples, DB shenker logistic and Ceva logistic which customers are dealing non essential items like machinery parts and softwares still remains open and operational. Sandvik in Singapore partner with Toll logistic also got it's exemption from the government to remain open although Sandvik is selling building, oil rigs and spare parts tools. There are still thousands of logistic staffs going for work each day risking their lives against covid19. The define definition of "Lockdown" mean there's is not business at all for these list of companies. But why are they still open for business?

  40. cut the 5G for one week and look what it shows …..you'll be surprised ….!!!
